Sugarhill Ddot: Comprehensive Marketing & Artist Development (2023/2024)

Led artist development and marketing strategy for Sugarhill Ddot as part of his Priority Records signing, focusing on creative branding, fan engagement, and digital campaigns that built momentum leading up to his debut album. My efforts centered on the rollout of key singles that expanded his visibility in the drill music scene and set the stage for his larger projects.

Notable campaigns included the promotion of singles like “3AM in the Yams”, “My Baby”, and “Let Ha Go”, which collectively amassed over 20 million views across YouTube and streaming platforms. These releases helped boost his fanbase and engagement rates across social media by over 30% within the first six months of his signing.

In addition to music rollouts, I worked on building Sugarhill Ddot’s visual identity and branding, creating digital content strategies that resonated with his core audience while driving traffic to DSPs. Focused on playlist placements and influencer partnerships, which significantly increased the visibility of his releases on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.

During this period, Sugarhill Ddot’s social media following grew exponentially, with his TikTok presence becoming a key driver of viral content.
